Some tough decisions on hand this week:

Start at QB:

Schaub vs OAK
Vick vs WAS

Which would you start?

Start at RB (only two can start):

McFadden vs HOU
Mendenhall vs BAL
Hillis vs CIN
Mathews vs ARI
Tolbert vs ARI

In both instances, I am leaning towards Vick vs WAS and Mendenhall/McFadden at RB. If I knew more about the Mathews situation, I could determine if I wanted to start Tolbert, as I have a feeling he would run all over AZ (as would Mathews).

What say you, FCB fantasy gurus?

I would pick Vick, McFadden and Hillis... My two cents.

I swapped Mendenhall with Hillis shortly before reading this (and after reading that Cincy has allowed over 100 RuYPG this season). I thought the Cincy defense was a little more stout than that (not to mention RB's average 5+ receptions per game as well, which is another area Hillis excels in).

Currently, these three set me up to demolish my opponent.

I just hope I have the same feeling come Sunday evening.

The past two weeks, Schaub/Vick has messed with me, and I have made the wrong choice each time. Both of those times resulted in a loss for me where the other had enough points to make up the diference and would have given me the win.

I am starting Vick, and so I would assume that Schaub will have a better game, based on my luck with who I choose. :| I would suggest starting McFadden and Mendenhall, although I could justify Hillis over Mendenhall with the way Hillis has been tearing things up.

McFadden - The Texans just gave up 100 yards and a TD to the Cowboys' trio of running backs this pas week, but held their past two opponents to under 50 yards each (Addai and Portis). The Colts and Skins were tearing it up through the air, so the ground games for those two teams weren't really involved all that much. Given that the Raiders don't have a QB that will shred the secondary, I would expect the ground game to be featured and get 100+ this week. If they don't rack up the rushing yards, I would expect them to get a touchdown out of things. The Texans have also given up at least 30 yards to starting RBs each week this season, and Run DMc is great on a swing route. He has really emerged this year, and is a must start 75% of the time.

Mendenhall - He's playing the Ravens defense. The big, bad Ravens defense....that Gave up 144 yards and a TD to Hillis in week 1, 72 yards to Cedric Benson in week 2, and 62 yards to LaDainian Tomlinson in week 3. With the Steelers again starting Batch, I look for them to be conservative and keep things on the ground this game, and for Mendenhall to have a decent day against a Ravens D that has slipped in their run defense compared to years past.

Hillis - The Bengals have yet to give up 100 yards rushing to a player this season. They gave up 71 to Fred Taylor, 87 to Ray Rice, and 64 to DeAngelo Williams. If Rice and Williams can't break 100, I don't look for Hillis to do it, but it's not impossible if Hillis plays like last week. He has three TDs (one each of the past three weeks), but only 41 and 35 yards in week 1 and 2, respectively (and Jerome Harrison should play Sunday). I'd keep him on my roster, but wait until he proves that week 3 yardage wasn't a fluke and that he has wrestled the workload from Jerome Harrison.

Outside of Vick going down, not a terrible decision on whom I started.

In fact all 5 of my RB scored 12.80 or more points this week, but I probably should have started Mendenhall over Run-DMC.

Eric - Hillis sure looked like a nobody rushing for 102 yards and a TD, huh?

Had McFadden not gone down with an injury, I think he still could have outperformed Mendenhall. As for what I said above about Hillis needing to prove he's legit - he's proven it. He showed he could be a good goalline back, but this game against the Bengals proves he can be the feature back.
