It's time I started looking for a storage space or something

I was cleaning up around my apartment today, and while moving some stuff around found a nice stack of graded cards. Among them was a 2007 Bowman Chrome Prospects Andrew Bailey Gold Refractor Rookie card. So where would you think that one of the best possible rookie cards of this year's Rookie of the Year, graded BGS 9.5 (and of course, it would have to be a pop 1 card, right) be located? In a box with other gold refractors or graded cards? Nope. Sitting in a pile on the floor with a bunch of other cards I had purchased and forgotten about.

I really think I need to either move all of my cards to an off-site storage place or something, as it's really starting to get overwhelming to store them all here.

Lol, that reminds me of the time I found some BGS slabs of top prospects in my car’s glove box.

Lol sean, it had to have been done in a moment of ADD, probably I took the mail to work w/me, opened it, + forgot about it.

Back in 03-04, I ripped some boxes of chrome in my car (I’m not a patient grasshopper w/unopened wax) + left them on my dash…woke up to a bunch of curled up chromes. I’ve also washed + dried chromes. @ least now I’ve managed to put all my slabs together (+ out of my car).

And yes, I still have some cards in my car today haha 1 of these days, I will get through those monster boxes.

Sweet card- bailey’s family’s been loading up on his chromes, so you could probably get a nice penny for it if/when you list it.

Hmm, I wasn't really looking to move it as it's for my set, but I guess it is good to know that there is an active market for them.

As for monster boxes, don't get me started. I was moving them from one room to another today, and nearly spilled one filled with top loaders all across the place. My cat likes to walk in front of me when I'm carrying things...

Thanks Danny. The organization would be a lot easier if I had more space, or a least that's what I keep telling myself.

Now onto the stack of cards that has a 1989 Fleer Ken Griffey Jr. autographed rookie card on the top of it (at least I generally know what is in it...)

Haha, my cats love to walk in front of me when I have monster boxes. I recently took in some stray kittens, so had to put some monster boxes (I’m out of space in the house) in the car. Those pesky buggers like to “flip through” the monster boxes LOL oh well, cheap entertainment for them, but makes it hard to store things. My next plan is to buy some steel shelves to hold the monster boxes up + out of the way of cats’ harm.

This but with baseball card storage boxes...

I actually have one of those. I have some other things on it, but mainly 800 count boxes, with mainly sets.

If you think you're losing things and forgetting about stuff now, it'll be exponentially worse if you get a storage unit. Having the crap in front of you and in your way is a better incentive to either organize it or get rid of it, than moving it off site. I've been there, done that.

my friend met his father in phoenix sky harbor airport. she was checking him in for his flight back to the bay area. she was wearing her giants lanyard. he made a comment about it and she said something like, "oh please don't tell me you're a dreaded dodgers fan!" he said, "no, but my son pitches for THEE OTHER TEAM." they talked for awhile about andrew, the giants, the a's and she even mentioned my collecting obsession of brandon wood to him. he then said that he had been picking up his son's cards. oddly enough, she said he told her that andrew lives across the street from pac bell park.

that's going to be like a climbing wall for them. it's true that kitties and puppies offer free enjoyable entertainment!
