This ebay seller has an item I am interested in that is starting at $19.99 (about $15.00 too much). As the auction was coming to a close with still no bids, I emailed the seller and asked if the item didn't sell, would he take $10.00 for it. The seller replies back that he knows the item will sell because it is so rare and how others in the past have sold for much more (not true) and because the auction had many watchers. The auction ends with no bids. The seller emails me back saying he has relisted the item for $39.99 (because he knows it will sell for at least that much) and if I hit the BIN he would give me a $10.00 discount if I mentioned it in the notes making the total come to $29.99. Am I missing something here? If your item didn't sell for $19.99, what makes your think it is going to sell for more?
