Looks like Allen Iverson is contemplating retiring, which is the reason he needed an indefinite leave from the Grizzlies. Personally I feel he is acting like a little selfish bitch, but that is just my opinion. He signed his contract knowing that he may not be the starting guard. He could go to another team and be the starting guard, but he is on the downside of his career. I knew when the Nuggets suckered the Pistons into that trade that it was in reality a lopsided trade. What trade value does he have? Will another team want to deal with his primadonna attitude? Can he make a team a contender, or will he be the cancer that throws off their chemistry? What are your thoughts?

I think Iverson is now realizing that respect in basketball will only go so far as you stay a superstar. Now that he is not a superstar I feel like team think they can jerk him around. From my understanding I thought he was supposed to start with the Griz. I think Iverson should have kept this closed doors meaning that if he had a problem he should have went right to the front office and got a straight answer from them and if he did not like it have the team trade him but keep quite on why he is being traded. I am a fan of Iverson but I just do not see a system or team right now that would fit him unless a top team lost their point gaurd due to injury and then he could fill in for the rest of the year or something like that. I know one thing, he still has a lot of game left! With that said If he Retires I dont think that would be such a bad thing and I wouldnt be mad at him.

Who cares....he complained about not getting enough shots after missing all of the preseason. His game has really went downhill the last two years and he can't get rid of the injury bug.
