Yeah, I read you about slowing down. I've spent my hobby budget for this pay period, so I'm done until our breaks on wed. Unless, of course, something big and must have hits ebay

Some bubble mailers arrived in the mailbox today:

That was the best scan I could get of the Elite auto. That foil board just doesn't scan well, and I didn't realize how dusty my scanner is until I tried scanning this card. It really is a great looking card in person. It makes me upset that Panini squandered what would have been a decent design if it had only been oriented properly.

I don't know if they're planning to release a set like they did in 2010, as this was from the National. There were 3 variations I believe, with the bottom stripe being a different color on each.

I finally got around to scanning the last week or so of mail. The Inception seller was a fast shipper! It's crazy how quickly most sellers work on ebay, especially when compared to the operating speed of most buyers, yet ebay goes out of their way to protect the buyers... oh well.

Thanks man. Yeah, I've already put together my new budget, and it's going to slow me down a bit. I'm going to be somewhat pickier about what I add to my collection, limiting my purchases to cards that I'll want to show off in the man-cave display cases and not on anything that will sit in a super shoebox. Fortunately I've picked up just about everything I wanted from the sets that are currently out, so I'll be able to focus on the one or two cards I want from some of the new sets as they're released.
