The Magic are so encouraged by Jameer Nelson's rehabilitation from shoulder surgery that they are expected to reevaluate his availability for the NBA Finals.
Nelson had surgery on February 19th and would obviously be rusty, but as team president Bob Vander Weide said, "The chance to get an All-Star point guard on the floor for 15 minutes a game -- you'd have to look at that." Vander Weide wants Nelson to take another MRI and consult with doctors, at which point we should get another update.

Wow, imagine how good the Magic would be with a fully healthy Jameer Nelson along with Rafer Alston.
I still don't see the Magic beating the Lakers for the championship.

I'm a Lakers fan but the Magic worry me. The Magic's strength is hitting the three, the Lakers weakness is guarding against the three. They will give the Lakers all they can handle and the Lakers have to take care of the home court advantage. If they do put in a rusty Nelson then that will hinder the Magic's play. It should be a great series. Go Lakers!

I'm just happy to see he's getting healthy. I don't know if it would be wise to put him in though since it's been so long. Stranger things have happened. Heck, we could just send him in to foul Kobe

Pick and Roll basketball, jam Jameer's shoulder every play and test him. I am sure Phil Jackson will test that shoulder early and quick.

Does anyone on the Lakers play physical enough to do that? ;)
