Was 8/12FG, 5-5 3pts, 5stls, 11ast last night. He's having a great year and his team is winning. He's been putting up alot of 20-30 point games this year. He's also doing this as the second/third option. Why no love?

Look at his % this year.

51% FG
46% 3pts
88% FT

16.6pts 3.4reb 5.4ast

I think that's the main problem. I know putting up those numbers as that option is good, but Howard and Rashard Lewis are bringing the points. I'm surprised to see that Turkoglu is only averaging 16.9ppg. I'd say Nelson is more of the third/fourth option player for the Magic rather than the second/third; furthermore, Nelson's only averaging 5.3 assists per game.

His cards are going up a bit. A SPx Auto/Jersey sold on Ebay for $19.25 shipped. These could be picked up for $5-10 over the summer.

Well, congratulations to you (wow, that sounds/looks sarcastic, but it's not meant to be.). I remember you said you were picking up his SPXs before.

Yea, he was one of my guys I picked up over the summer that I didn't give up on to early (Danny Granger..argg). J.R. Smith and Kevin Martin are the only guys that haven't done much for me this year that I invested in over the summer.

I don't like either option of the poll. I don't think he is terribly underrated nor is he just an average joe. I think he's a very good player, but <17 ppg and right around 5 apg doesn't mean huge money in the hobby, especially if he isn't getting all the publicity for his team.

He produces when healthy. He's averaging 24.5 points/game and had +20ppg in the two previous seasons.

I look at him as an average player but then again he has decent numbers for a point gaurd. I think if more people want to look at him as a star level player or atleast better than average he has to boost his assist to about 7-8 and play good defense. I think he still has room to improve so we will see.

28pts 8ast 6reb. He was the main reason they beat the Lakers last night. He caught fire in the 4th quarter.

He had his 4th game in a row with 20+ points against the Nuggets last night. He looks very confident on the court right now. I hope he can keep it up.

It's blasphemy for a 'Nova guy to like a St. Joe's guy, but I like Jameer. I grabbed two of his SPA RCs for $10 at White Plains yesterday, and I couldn't believe how cheap they are.
Sooner or later people will realize that he is an excellent PG on an excellent team, and he'll get some recognition.

Not overrated, but not just your average Joe either.

He is the 4th option on the Magic (Dwight, Hedo and Rashard over him...plus maybe Courtney Lee now) and he needs to raise his assits, much like how Devin has.

I see him as a just above average league PG, who has the potential to be better if he can improve his steals and assists.

Jameer was one of the guy's I voted in your poll for Comeback POY, I was buying him up at the beginning of last season as his chemistry & friendship with Dwight first caught my attention (then I heard about his "life" story & how his father tragically died & believed he has the making's to "bust-out" much like Monta Ellis did last year...or was it the year before?). Luckily I didn't fully sell out of Jameer last season when they were in the playoff's because they were "hot" then & I had a GREAT ROI, but I see that he is becoming a focal point & co-team leader of this team & I know that he is right on the cusp of a jump in price (they already have jumped, but I'm talking M.Ellis/D.Harris/K.Martin jump...much like they did, Jameer is now starting to receive acclaim for his contribution's; which he is the 3rd scoring option but he is putting them in the bucket & his % are pretty high)! I've been on the Jameer bandwagon for awhile now (I was actually coming to the Basketball board's to make some noise for him & am pleasantly surprised AKA beat me to it). I do currently have some Jameer's up on Ebay but I have them with BIN's because I know that while there is an increase in thier going rate's, I can get more VERY soon (& I kinda expect my BIN's to be hit if he goes a few more games like that of what he's been doing). Anyhow, GREAT POST on a GREAT player! :D ....I just wish I wouldn't have moved my 8 Exquisite's... :? sickening! :D

Ouch on the Exquisites. How much did you let them go for? I decided to load up on his lower end rc's instead of his higher ends (just like I did with Harris). Kind of wish I would have bought some Exquisites.
