James Davis - Car Accident

Seems like he'll be ok in the long run, but still figured I'd post.

Browns rookie running back James Davis was hospitalized Saturday morning after a one-car collision that happened at 8 a.m. while Davis was driving to the team's practice facility.

Davis was released from the hospital Saturday and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's opener against Minnesota with a head injury.

The Browns are hopeful that Davis can spell Jamal Lewis often after an impressive preseason, and many wonder if Davis will wind up taking Lewis' job eventually. They might need Davis even more than usual Sunday because the Browns are opening with Minnesota and their stout run defense.

For now, the rookie's status for Week One is up in the air due to the unfortunate accident, but it appears Davis has avoided serious injury.
