The White Sox and Padres are discussing a trade involving righty starter James Shields, and those talks have “significant momentum,” Dennis Lin of the San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

The White Sox have tanked in the Central League as of late......Yesterday was the best day as a Cub fan watching their bullpen blow back to back leads to the royals. And now they think they need pitching, and Shields is the answer........ Ha AHHAHAHAHAHHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

Oh and the Royals had a .01 percent winning the game after the first out in the 9th. Then pulled of the 1000 to 1 recording setting feat in that 9th

Lame Game James has given up 4 hits, 4 walks & 4 runs through just 1.2 IP off 60 pitches against the Mariners so far....and the Sox think he's the answer? Good luck with that.
