2 for my 59 topps set. the Fisher he grabed a bad pen to start, but replaced it with a good pen, and took the time to make it look good. gotta love some of the older players.

Sent 1952 Bowman received back 1953 Topps Archives and 1953 Bowman Color Reprint.

Tal, it might be worth writing him a quick note to see if he still has your cards laying around. I send a 51B to George Strickland for my Pirates collection, and he ended up sending a 55B back, which has him in a Cleveland uni. I wrote a nice note explaining how I collected Pirate autographs, and asking if he had accidentally switched cards. A couple days later I got my signed 51 and a kind note back apologizing for the mixup, he had my card sitting at his desk and must had grabbed the wrong card when he put it in my envelope.

Worst that can happen is you're out another $.44

Danny, I'll probably be hitting 450 after Piratefest this weekend. I'm sitting at 446 right now. I think my last update was at 300 or 350, so it looks like I'm going to have a lot of scanning to do :benson:

Kemmerer wrote a great book called "Ted Williams: Hey Kid Just Get It Over The Plate" which chronicles his relationship with Williams and a bunch of funny stories about his travels in baseball. It is recommended reading.
