Shame

I only have a few Just Minors Autos of him

He seemed like he was going to put up some good numbers

Pick up his stuff in a week or so if u have the capital and don't mind holding for 12+ months. Other than the year delay, pitchers seem to respond well to the surgery now

Why this late in the game? Didn't he hurt himself last year in July? Why wait until late October to consider an operation? He's a few months behind now already.

Not the end of the world. I bought into him about a month ago, knowing the risk.

Obviously know would be the time to buy, the kid is obviously very talented but TJ isn't exactly the easiest thing to bounce back from.

Pitchers NEVER recover from Tommy John.

Don't tell that to Kyle Drabek, AJ Burnett, Erik Bedard, or Josh Johnson.
To be fair, Tommy himself was only able to pitch for 14 seasons after he got the procedure.~

Case closed.

Lesson: Don't invest in athletes.

Also ask Francisco Liriano what he thinks of Tommy John.

The reason why he got TJ surgery in the first place was because the Twins did not handle him properly. Whoever said pitchers don't recover from TJ surgery is an idiot.

Only real pitchers can handle 120+ IP at age 23.
