Jason Bay collection milestone mailday

I received my 800th different Jason Bay card today...

I have been collecting Bay for 3 years and have recently surpassed 2 other milestones 150 different certified autographs and 175 different game used cards.

Congrats Dave!!! I never thought to make a goal of base cards for the PC...but 800 is AMAZING!!! Loving most of the patches too...especially with the sweet ones with red :mrgreen:

Holy crap.... 800..Wow that is amazing...I don't think I even have 800 cards total..much less of an individual player...Very nice, congrats!

Very SWEET Bay collection!!! Do you have the triple auto of Bay/Kiner/Maz, I can't remember what year it was though. My brother in law has one, I think it's #'d to like 15 or somewhere in that area.

BTW - I work with Kevin Slowey's dad!!!

Absolutely incredible Dave! Congrats on another Bay milestone. I'm thinking 200+ autos, 250+ gu, and 850-900 different Bay cards by the end of the year is in reach.

metallicalex777 thanks Alex. last year I tried to slow down and just collect auto's and game used but when he was traded to the Sox I decided to continue to go after base cards again.

mstng99tim thanks Tim and no I have actually lost out on the Bay/Kiner/Maz triple 3 times but hopefully one day. that's cool that you work with Slowey's dad. he graduated from my high school so I decided to start collecting him as a side project.

muskiesfan thanks Joe. I would definitely agree with 850-900 cards but auto's that I don't have are starting to become harder and harder to find.

Congrats on another milestone Dave. I know what you mean by the auto's not showing up much lately. I'm right at 153 I think, but the ones that show up usually do when I don't have the cash.

My "goal" is to have 1,000 different cards, 200 different auto's and 200 different G/U by the end of the year. The 1,000 should fairly easy as I have just over 930 so far. Good luck on the quest.

Wow, very impressive collection! Congrats on your milestone! My player only has 15 cards in existence, I couldnt imagine having over 800 cards, lol.

congrats buccos - that's great! this is from someone who quit collecting bay's cards in 2004 because they were getting to have too many bay cards! nice job sticking to it.
