He had a fantastic year with us, in '08. It was highlighted by a fine three inning -3 inning save rule - performance against the Giants in that early season. Other than that....

The bigger question is what are your thoughts on having a signing with Jason Grilli?

He was never much of a MLB player, so unless it's dirt cheap (and I do mean 'dirt' - IE: no money) I can't fathom why there would be much interest to return any amount of investment.

Not trying to be a jerk, just honest from a business angle.

I have to agree with 200lb

I wouldnt be willing to pay more than $10 bucks for an autograph of him

Maybe you can get him to donate part or all of the money to charity, which could save you some dough and still get him

What is the point in "working with him"?

You won't be able to sell his autographs, and no one will pay for him to sign their items.....

I just don't get it.

I'm going to state my honest opinion here...

A Jason Grilli autographed official Rawlings MLB baseball signed on the sweet spot would sell for less than an unsigned official Rawlings MLB baseball.

Ultimately it boils down to "a nobody to sign autographs is better than nobody to sign autographs"

If you arent giving up much, get him, if he wants more than $500...I wouldnt do it

That's not necessarilly true. I just sold one of his autographed cards today infact. Granted it was sold for $1.99, but apparently they can sell. :)

Even if I knew that Jason Grilli was sitting by me on an 8-hour flight, I still wouldn't talk to him.

I'd buy 100 Bob Feller baseballs for $15/each today and if I can have until tomorrow, I'll buy 1000 at that price.

i have a very good relationship with Bob, i have worked with him several times over the past 3 or so years.

it is a hobby joke.....

bob signs everything under the sun. for as great of a player he was, his autograph should be worth much more than it is now.

you kinda proved my point. Bob charges $10 per signature.. to promoters also. and lets say you get a dozen baseballs for $110. you just lost money.
