Jason Schmidt makes his first start in 2 years tonight.

But Micah Owings is doing worse, 6 runs and 7 hits in 3 innings.
Dodgers up 6-3 in only the 3rd.

Looks like Schmidt will get the W.

There is no signing worse than Zito's. At least Schmidt has a shorter contract. Granted it was a bonehead signing given the signs of breakdown but Zito is truly in a class by himself.
