And that's all. 8 plate appearances, 0-8 with 8 strikeouts.

Absolutely. It is my 2nd favorite website after FCB.
My morning routine is to go there and get inspired to check stats/games/etc while I drink my coffee. I often make the same posts there that I do here. I know that some FCB'ers like this crap as much as I do, but aren't nearly as obsessive about research as me.
With a house full of people that don't like sports (my wife and two little girls), this is the only outlet I have.

Bone was one of the nicest players I have met. I met him in 1987 when he was still with the Yankees organization in AAA Columbus. He was leading the league in HR with 31 when he got called up. Tidewater Tides 1st baseman Randy Milligan was leading the International League in hitting and RBIs, but was trailing Buhner in HRs. Milligan finished with 29 HR, in 2nd place behind Buhner, falling just short of the Triple Crown. Milligan finished the season as the IL MVP, leading the Tides to the best record in the IL that year.
For yet another obscure stat, Milligan is one of 113 players (since 1956) with 700 games and a career OPS+ of 127 or higher: http://www.bb-ref.com/pi/shareit/5eWn
Lots of great players on this list.

Wow. He walked a lot. Which is a bit unusual for a hitter reared in the 80's. He was a moneyballer's dream. I am guessing injuries derailed his career.leatherman said:thefatguy said:Jay signed my M's cap in Peoria last spring. Very gracious. he signed everything and took pics with anyone that asked.
