When he was with Seattle, they were talking about moving him to first, but since they made some moves.. They had to trade him..

I thought Pearce was having the better spring. Clement is batting less then .230. Pearce's average isn't much better but he has 3 hrs

Good for him, he's taken the LOOONGG way around to get where he is today. Hopefully he'll be able to stay up and end up having some decent playing time. Too bad the Pirates won't be playing the Mariners very often......I hope the Mariners prospect cleansing ends up biting them in the rear. :twisted:

Glad to see him move finally. I don't know what the love affair with Kenji is, but if Clement can get a starting spot somewhere, good for him.

there has been 0 love affair for Kenji.. he flat out sucked. the management basically fired him, but because he is well liked in Japan they let him "retire" (I think everyone saw through that one lol)

I think moving him along slowly was the best plan. he should be able to show the bigs what hes got now. if hes at first though he better find some power quick
