I'll just use this thread to post all my new pickups instead of starting a new thread every week.
This is my first major attempt at player collection completion since...I guess the last time I collected Conine growing up. I thought I had most every non 1/1...guess I was wrong. I'd never heard of certain cards like Aficionado First Pitch Previews until I saw the 90's Insert thread. A lot of the regional Marlins team issues and oddballs I didn't know about until I started building my spreadsheet. I didn't have Ebay and beckett.com when I was growing up collecting. All I had was the generosity of fellow collectors at my local shop and regional shows. Player collectors now have it easy. There might be a lot more stuff out there, but at least you can find it online in other parts of the country
Here's what I have so far. I'm only focusing on his rookie and Marlins stuff from 1988-1997. 388 cards seems a lot more attainable than 802. I'll eventually pick up his stuff from his second stint with Florida a few years back, but for now I'm narrowing my focus
My goal by the end of the year is to get to 70%. That's another 30 cards. I have around 8 new ones coming from Magicpapa, and I'll probably pick up some commons from Burbank as long as they combine shipping
