Samardzija was pretty solid last year. Granted, on a good team he'd be a #3 or #4 starter with hope for more, but the Cubs aren't a good team. The other option would be Edwin Jackson.

Samardjia is actually looking like a huge post-hype sleeper. His K-rate is outstanding. Could blow up in Chi-town.

Yeah I'm a fan and I have a friend I was hoping to pick up an auto for, but looking at eBay everything is about 3x-10x going rate. This completed listing caught my attention because I figured golds would be selling for $100 or so....makes one think it may be time to sell rather than buy!

I think he's a good young pitcher not great but good. Like mud said he was so hyped when he signed and got bombed in the minors as a starter. The Cubs moved him to the pen and he started to learn how to pitch instead of just throw.

Hopefully he builds on last year and breaks out as a legit 2
