great points! but while .270 is an average that can keep you in employment its not an average of someone with the announced ability of jesus! while i dont think dude is a bust i think he will need some seasoning and time to grab the pace of AAA.

Yeah I agree that more time in AAA is the right choice for Montero, but I suppose if you're heavily invested into a guy who has batted .220 all year, seeing him get the average up to .270 must be pretty exciting.

I think the point of the thread is the fact that it seems he may be hitting his stride as a 20 Year old in AAA. His other numbers seem pretty solid as he has continued to develop his plate discipline as well...
