Too bad his hitting coach robbed him out of a MiLB POY candidate year.

expound please.....

Supposedly, there were reports a month or so ago that his hitting coach was messing around with his approach/stance. Apparently that hitting coach has been fired (he should be at least) and now Jesus is doing what he does best.

that makes sense, his stance looked quite akward when i saw him play, and he swung slow and looked overpowered

If his batting coach did something a month ago, then he should be given an award. He's been on fire for the last 3 weeks.

I still think the wrist injury slowed him early.

It's like everyone forgot his season was ENDED by it last year. I really expected him to struggle coming into 2010, and then to rebound, but likely without power.....

Guess i was wrong there.

Actually he broke a finger last year... Oh and I saw his swing in April, it was a mess.. He was moving the bat around like Big Tex does, and it made his swing a lot slower through the zone..

ehhhh, 3-4 good weeks doesn't make a season and shouldn't warrant a Call-up.

Keep him where he is, let him destroy MILB pitching next year, then call him up.

Mark Teixeira and Jesus Montero.

They may start off slow, but when they hit they rake. Bigtime.

I have a boner

So do I.

But I have one from looking at naked chicks, not 20 year old men

This is the 1st time I've got one from looking at the stats of a baseball player. It normally is young women that do it for me :D
