Jhoulys Chacin Elite 1/1 auto BIN pickup

Paid $150 for it with free shipping which I felt was a solid pickup and it just arrived today. Thoughts? I saw that the Neftali Feliz 1/1 auto finished for $300 so I think I got a good deal.

I can't imagine how hyped Chacin would be if he were in another organization. Very bright future IMO.

Definitely agree here. Colorado is a nightmare for pitchers, but I still think he will be good and that people will be able to make some serious money off him (very possibly before he reaches the majors).

Very nice pickup for the original poster and a very nice price.

Here is my lone Chacin (at least for now). and btw, the case is scratched, not the card-

Yeah, its a shame too because other than the centering it would be an easy 9.5. Still considering sending it in and hoping for a 9. Not sure.

Honestly that centering should get about a 3 :lol:

But IMO if you plan on selling down the road, there's not too much difference price-wise between a bgs 9 and a raw version of a card like this. If it were me, I'd save the grading money and just put it in a nice screw down or one touch case.

Its actually not as bad as the pic makes it out to be. I don't have a scanner, so the glare and angles do funny things. I do hear ya though, I have it in a magnetic case right now where it will probably stay for a while.

Ya never know, maybe it could get a 9.5 somehow. I've seen worse centering than that get a 9 or 9.5 before which makes no sense whatsoever, but it happens..

Zero Chance, I'd be suprised if it gets a BGS 9 overall grade, its one of the worst centered cards L/R That i've seen.


BTW that was a sick pick up! I think it would be worth 200-250 if it went to auction.

I know it wouldn't actually happen, but then again, how does this card's centering get a perfect 10? To me, that's not really even that close to perfect. about 40/60 L/R
