In his prime he was one of a handful of opposing players I'd "pay to see"

He's supposed to be one of the most tremendous clubhouse presences ever.

I heard Jim Edmonds once ordered a Big Mac at Burger King and got one

He's probably not yet "finished" with himself to type how excited he is about this news.

On 1380 AM this morning Edmonds said he has been called by multiple teams since announcing he is interested in playing. He said the Yankees are also interested in him. I love Edmonds, but first the Cubs and now possibly the Yankees? Is he trying to get back at us Cardinal fans. They asked if his comeback was to help his bid for the Hall of Fame. He's 18 homers short of 400 and 119 hits short of 2000.

What was his response? I mean, even he has to know he isn't even close to being borderline for the Hall right? I mean dude was incredible, hell dominant at times, but his prime was way too short

I cannot see him in the NL though. I see him as a DH somewhere.

I kinda bet he goes to the NL. He's still a damn good fielder. He always took great pride in his defense, and I don't think his legs are shot just quite yet. He'd be a nice backup corner outfielder.
