My memory isn't foggy. Edmonds asked to be traded to the West coast specifically. Hence, San Diego.

I'm not saying LaRussa is perfect, but Edmonds didn't have to be a little bitch after he left St. Louis. Well, let me rephrase that. He wasn't a little bitch in San Diego. Everyone was excited about him coming back to St. Louis that first time with the Padres. Even me. There was going to be a big ovation for him. But he got injured and that never happened. Then San Diego cut him and he chose to sign with the Cubs. THEN he started being a bitch after he signed with the Cubs. He had to have known there were going to be q million questions concerning the Cardinals when he signed with the Cubs, so it couldn't have surprised him. He could have handled the situation a million times better than saying frack the Cardinals and he was done with the city. That's a bitch move. Instead of just saying he loved his time in St. Louis he went the other route and trashed the city. He shouldn't have done that at all. This isn't revisionist history, it's what I remember happening. Edmonds punked out, especially with his antics after the home run. Was completely uncalled for.

And yes, that's me in my avatar. And why? Because I'm a sexy beast. :)

Please show me where he said, "Frack the Cardinals." He specifically asked for idiot reporters in both Chicago and St. Louis to please stop asking him questions about the Cardinals and when they were still asking the same questions after weeks he became irritated. You can't expect a player to not sign with a team that wants him to play. What did Edmonds do after this home run? Please provide a link to this "stare down??"

Even if he was a complete ass after he left (which is open to debate) you simply cannot overlook what he meant to the city. If you want to take your hostility out on a former player why not point it towards McGwire, or better yet at some of our own fans ( you know, the morons that actually cheered McGwire and booed Jack Clark).

And about your picture, I was just curious why you put your own photo there and what power from the depths of hell would make a supposed Cards fan wear a Yankees hat?

See what happened was my buddy is a Yanks fan and we bet on who would go further in the playoffs. I was really wasted. The loser had to wear the other's hat so when I lost, I put the hat on and my hot girlfriend wouldn't stop telling me how good I looked so I wear it now.

Sam's actually a pretty big Yankee fan, in particulary, A-Rod and Aaron Boone.

Kinda like how I am with the Athletics.
