Reviewing today's box scores, I saw that Rollins is now batting 0.169. What the heck is going on? I understand 59 AB's is still a small sample size, but do you think his skills are diminishing? I think he could be a "buy low" candidate in my NL-only Rotiss league. Thoughts?

He started off slow last year. He hasn't been focused the last two off seasons.

He did?
Last year, Rollins hit .286 in April and .298 in May.
Both of those are higher than the .277 he finished with.
Regardless, something seems off with Rollins this year. He might be hurt.
I can't believe he's only 30 years old.
He should get his 1,500th hit in a few weeks, which puts him on a good pace for 3,000, if he stay healthy.
Rollins is a fun player to watch.

I remember him getting off to a slow start. Maybe it was only the first week or two.

well he was amazing in the WBC, hitting and fielding wise.

Probably just a 10 game slump

Small sample sizes can make people look great or terrible.

An article regarding fantasy baseball along those lines. Peeps need to wait until the sample size grows before that starts panicking!

He's not hurt. Just batting poorly. How does Dave F'in Bush dominate that lineup?

The team has had a wild few weeks, they'll settle down. :grouphug:

And if Rollins is a FA in your league pick him up ::facepalm::

Thanks for the opinions. My league is 10 teams NL only so Rollins is not a FA. Sounds like it may be worth my time to inquire if he is available as there could be a buy low opportunity if his current owner is started to get frustrated.
