JJ Hardy Demoted, ALCIDES ESCOBAR is up

Brewers recalled shortstop Alcides Escobar from Triple-A Nashville.
Escobar has just been given a great opportunity to impress Brewers' management. J.J. Hardy was been optioned to Triple-A Nashville in a corresponding move and the 22-year-old is expected to man the shortstop position full time through the end of the season. He was batting .298/.353/.409 at Triple-A.

This is interesting news in Wisconsin thats for sure. I thought Hardy would never see the minors again but he has really sucked up the place this year

The bloodletting at Miller Park continues. In addition to Hardy being sent down and pitching coach Bill Castro being fired, Haudricourt is now reporting that they've designated Bill Hall for assignment and are bringing up Jason Bourgeois.
