I don't understand the trade for the Cavs, but really like what Sacramento is putting together. Jimmer, Evans, Hickson, and Cousins is a solid group of young players.

What are the conditions on the first round pick that Cleveland received? I read somewhere that it is lottery-protected for 2012, unprotected for 2013.

Seems like a reasonable trade to me. I could easily Sacramento striking out on the playoffs in the next two years. I agree that Hickson is better than Casspi, but this seems like Cleveland is giving Tristan Thompson the keys while trying to get a half-decent wing. I'm on board with that, Cleveland needs to totally revamp that roster and it seems like they know that.
