The purple refractor makes my first rainbow of Votto. I loved the looks of this years Finest so was really excited to see the purple pop up.

Until recently I haven't picked up much stuff. With all the new interest after Votto won 2010 MVP and the expected price increases of his cards, I've pretty much shied away from buying for a while.

With the excitement of spring training and the pending start of the season though I cruised through the Bay scouring for stuff to buy. With the strong series against the Brewers it may be a great season to be a Reds fan.

With a limited budget and the big year Votto had last I've had to stay clear of the 1/1 insanity auctions as of late. Though winning MVP catches the eye of card manufacturers and you really get a good amount of extra cards to choose from now.
