John Sickles' Top 150 Prospects List

Well if nothing else, he's clearly got a sense of humor. Some of these rankings made me howl with derisive laughter, specifically, Buxton, Hicks, Dahl, Starling, Giolito, Owens and especially Marisnick.

Low for me means too far down the list, which he is.

I'm with Sickles approach to ranking Buxton. He's over-ranked in most lists but appropriately ranked here for a toolsy high school player with limited pro exposure.

Another list with Austin Hedges high. Hopefully his card prices jump a little.

Certainly a few question marks not unlike any other list, but I enjoy how Sickles not only doesn't have a problem being different, but is able to give reasoning for his opinion.

Don't get me wrong. I am a huge Cardinal's fan, but why is Shelby Miller 6th?

yes there were a some laughable spots. Even though he was ranked lower than I expected I just don't see what all the hype is about Marisnick. I think he's a top 100 prospect (more towards the bottom) but not a top 50.
