Prepare for the frenzy!!

'This Harper is pretty good.'

"Johnson said he is going to give Harper, 19, every chance to make the team out of Spring Training. Harper is expected to play his first Spring Training game on Saturday against the Astros."

If you want to trade it for some Harvey's, I might have some. ;)

Against the Astros? Could they have lobbed him a slower softball?

And Livan Hernandez is the starter... some say the speed of his curveball is comparable to slow pitch softball!

Disclaimer: Livan is one of my fav players, so I actually hope he makes him look foolish on a bugs bunny curve and then Harper jacks one out against a Houston reliever.

No thank you. I will have to sell it to feed my gold collecting needs. I saw that somebody else (not you or I) was looking for some Harvey stuff. I kinda chuckle when I see new members looking for Harvey - between you and I, we cleaned these boards pretty well. Anybody who has some is hoarding it for now - or we would probably have those too.

I sure hope he makes the roster opening day, going to use my Harper Bowman Auto and 14 2011 Bowman Harpers for new tires.

The greatest part of this hype is the flood that will ensue on ebay when everyone and their father lists their harpers. Even if he makes the team out of spring training there will be no significant rise in his prices and the fact that ebay will be flooded with cards may only drive the prices down. Its to bad the card companies over produced his cards for the sake of driving up their box/case prices but business is business.
