Looks like I was off on Giambi, but made up for it on Moose. **** got a $1MM raise to $5MM yesterday, so make that number $83 mil. Pettitte will likely accept the Yankees' one year offer and come back for 10-11 mil, thus making it $72 mil coming off, and Tex/CC/AJ come close enough to that where this should be it for the FA signings. Manny is not coming aboard now. :lol:

Yearly payroll isn't determined by adding up what will be paid to each player through the duration of their individual contracts. What don't you understand about that?

Sabathia did not get paid $161 million when he signed. Teixeira did not get paid $181 million when he signed.
