His last Red Refractor sold for about $1500. My offer of $2000 was auto-declined.

Whenever someone has auto-decline engaged on a high-profile card like this, i tend to see it as a fishing expedition. Although, you'd have to be a fool to not sell during this time in Bautista's career.

I knew $2k would likely not get it done, but to have it auto-declined, yeah that's not a good sign. Unless Bautista makes a run at 60 HR near the end of the season, someone's probably making a bad call by not selling now. Plus, think about what the initial investment was on this card probably was.

I think it has been up before, but probably before he was anything close to the superstar he is now, so I and most others most likely didn't really take note.

I'm guessing Amarista Super + Gray Super + $3000 might get it done.

Wow! The biggest reason I thought it had been up before was that it was being sold by a Canadian. I figured that since it was located in Canada, where Bautista plays, that it was likely bought by the seller(you). That's crazy, and congrats.

Didn't like to leave with empty hands so decided to buy 2 boxes of 2006 bowman chrome. In the end decided to add a third one...

No idea if the Bautista was actually in the third box. Pulled the Bautista and a prince fielder auto...

Have to say that I spend around $500 bugs a month on boxes...

Personally, I wouldnt pay more than $500 for it.

Appreciate what Jose's doing but considering the card itself isnt even a true RC and im still not convinced hes more than a flash in the pan I wouldnt shell out for it.

But I do believe 2k would be fair.
