This is an amazing move, as he's yet to pitch above A+.

Marlins purchased the contract of RHP Jose Fernandez from High-A Jupiter.
It's a stunning move, as Fernandez, 20, has yet to appear in a game above A-ball and was a relatively early cut during spring training. He will join the rotation following shoulder injuries to both Nathan Eovaldi and Henderson Alvarez. The team's top prospect and one of the best pitching prospects in the game, Fernandez posted a 1.75 ERA and 158/35 K/BB ratio over 134 innings between Low- and High-A last season. He's worth a shot in mixed leagues.

I just sold a blue base Bowman auto I had on a BIN sitting there for $20. I have a bunch of Sterling autos I'm going to throw up as well. 5, I think.

Sell, Sell, SELL !!! With Alvarez & Eovaldi beginning the season on the DL, they've gotta have SOMEONE pitch for them. I think it's a big mistake, but, it's the Marlins. Their track record speaks for itself.

Funny, this is the same guy that Baseball America stated would be nothing but a RELIEVER when the Marlins drafted him. Smoothhhhhhhhhh

Maybe they had some concerns before the draft, but just by browsing through their Web site, I'm pretty sure BA was pretty high on Fernandez last year.

Yesterday I read an article about the best changes MLB could make for the league and one of them was to banish Jeffrey Loria. I laughed it off an to this point I though that most people were overreacting to the firesale this offseason. I could at least see reasons for it. This, however, is SUPER-idiotic. From a developmental standpoint, from a service-time standpoint, and probably a few other areas I am blanking on right now. Sell now, cause the Marlins are setting up an atmosphere where this guy is going to blow out his arm. (138 Total IP last two years....idiotic)

Wish I had gotten more kid was a beast last year. After he popped Stanton in the head during spring training was worried it would mess with his head a little hopefully it didn't.

When will his first start be? If I list tonight, I'd like to end before he throws a pitch (yes, I'm pessimistic).
