Wow, way too young. I never really liked him when he was with the Dodgers but his wife was a nice piece of eye candy. I also had no idea he was only 37, kinda figured he was at least my age.

R.I.P. to an enjoyable pitcher, who seemed to truely get into and enjoy the game (weather that was good or bad, that's a discussion for a different day).

WOW. Very sad indeed. Prayers go out to his wife and children. That will be very hard for the children to understand. So young :( RIP

My brother played blackjack at the same table as Lima in a Detroit casino. Said he was as nice as could be. My brother said he only played about a half an hour until his phone rang. Lima stood up and said, "Wifey calling, gotta go." Always seemed like a great guy on the Jim Rome radio show. Really sad to see him go! Hope Rome kept that 20 win game ball!

Hopefully he passed while motor-boating.

In all seriousness, it always sucks when someone dies early. I feel for his child/children and family.

If I die while motor-boating I want it written on my tombstone that I passed that way, and a happy man.

There are a million things that could have caused it. The other night we had a 38 year old whose heart, for a lack of better terms, exploded. We had a 35 year old that was setting at dinner with his wife and two kids, when he said he wasn't feeling well. By the time he got to the hospital, he had an aortic aneurysm (10 cm) and didn't survive surgery. Some people just have a shorter clock than others and any risk taken, lessens that time.
