Didn't the Angels sign (and overpay) another CF from the Rangers before? Haha

Hamilton is much better I know, but hopefully he continues to perform.

Bringing up Little Sarge, lol ? I'm stunned at this deal. Offseason movement has been super fun to see what transpires next.

Oh, and Dempster to the Red Sox. 2 years, $26 million.

Keep them, the uni colors are the same.

Im guessing to come out here, the rangers must have rubbed him the wrong way with all the upton stuff. I figured he'd stay in texas and he was a great fit there. I'm guessing upton will leave AZ as soon as he can. Players don't like to be played along. I love nolan and think the rangers have done a very good job bringing in players, since he has been there. But, I'm guessing in regards to hamilton and young, they both felt messed with little. Hamilton was given a bunch by texas(through all his problems), so they may have just not felt like bending over backwards for the guy any more.

Definitely good for baseball on the West Coast. Now if only the Padres could sign somebody besides Jason Marquis...

This is ridiculous. Not sure if I like this or not. Trading away the young talent always seems to come back to bite teams in the butt. Baseball is tragic and poetic like that...

As an Angels fan, I feel a bit uncomfortable with this new era of big spending and trying to buy a ring.

And to the Rangers' main rival.
My two favorite Rangers, Hamilton and Young, gone within a week.

As long as we makes some moves for pitching, i'm fine with it.

These new TV contracts are really going to suck going forward for small market teams. I really hope we end up with 3 to 5 years of Angels vs. Dodgers in the WS and terrible TV ratings, then maybe we will really talk about revenue sharing in MLB on par with the NFL.
