I saw the new BA book in your sig and laughed when I read this

Jaypers (MOMSVILLE, IL): Who is your minor league player of the year if the season ended today.

Conor Glassey: You're going to have to wait another couple weeks...

Jaypers (Livinwitmom, IL): Arrieta,Tillman,Matusz who will lead the pack in 2010

Conor Glassey: My order would be Tillman, Matusz, Arrieta. Tillman and Matusz are close and are both upper-echelon guys, but Arrieta isn't in that group for me.

Those two questions were not asked by me.

I do find them hysterical, though.

It just speaks volumes as to that person's character in that he chooses to hide (and clearly knows nothing about me, as I proudly own my own beautiful house), as opposed to using his real name, or even a username.

I'm almost positive I know who it is, though.

I personally chuckled when I saw Momsville and Livingwitmom, IL. I personally would have went with Denim City ala Eric Young with Souvenir City.

I could really do without EY.

Livinwitmom I guess is a myth that JP has now disspelled...but seriously JP, I would be very dissapointed if you told us that you didn't wear denim...please let me go on believing that one.

and JP, on the house, scan or ban :)

I do wear denim, at least on occasion.

As for the identity of the person....eh, why give him what he wants.

Apparently it's some loser that's having a collision of being a cyberstalking wussie mixed in with a personal identity crisis. Why don't you man up and reveal yourself pinhead??

Senor Shields speaks the truth.

There is this really weird infatuation with J.P. that is bizarre, but this is tiresome.

Agree with you Mike about the infatuation for JP
Many also have infatuation with that Burge guy

Burge is a slime-ball with extremely shady behavior and a shadier history, so I have no problem with people continually calling him (and his 10s of eBay IDs) out and he deserves every bit of the hammering he gets.

JP doesn't.

I can understand being obsessed w/guys who are bad for the hobby- shillers, trimmers, patch fakers, auto fakers, etc. b/c these are things collectors and fellow dealers need to be aware of. Being obsessed over “random dude on a card messsage board”? not so much and kind of weird imo.
