Second Bolded: Why is the BGS 2010 Base Bowman Chrome Grader a ****? I swear, this makes me like 2/15 on base Chrome Autos from that set. Frack it, everything else was nice

Yeah base chromes from this set - not easy.

Fake...doubtful, prob something else, they will have a note on the card.

As for the printing plates, do they grade them? I thought I heard they also case them authentic due to grading complications.... for example how do you grade surface on a printing plate that has ink all over it? I could be wrong, I just thought someone else ran into a similar issue a few months ago.

Yes, BGS do grade printing plate; in fact, I got the above 07 Masterpieces back from the April/May Group Sub.

If the plate does have ink all over it, it'll seriously effect the surface grade. I bought the following one on eBay, thus you can compare.

They do grade them, but I submitted mine only to be authenticated, yet it was still rejected, which is making me scratch my head.

This PC one I'm glad they slabbed. Was unsure if they would as there's a stain on the JSY.

Got mine today. Very happy overall. Not sure about the 7 for centering on the Ref. I've seen worse get better grades.

Don't think its too bad for my first sub ever though.
