So BGS screwed up. We have 2 pricing tiers 10 day and 20 day. So the 10 day guys got really screwed. BGS offer up any recourse for that? If someone submits directly to BGS they get the whole sub free if they fail to meet the deadline. I assume that is not the case with "us". Why not? Is it because we get a price break? Ok understandable. But if it was not for the discount I'd not sub this many cards to BGS. What's the motivation for them to meet the deadline if there is no recourse? Granted it does not happen every time, but this is the 3rd situation I'm aware of that they have been late. And I don't mean a day or 2. Also with it being so late, you would think they would OT a couple of guys and knock this out.
Every day that goes by and I do not get grades from this sub, I am genuinely surprised.
BGS originally put these cards in as a bulk submission for some reason and graded them 9.5 or better. 100 or so of the cards that gemmed are already in slabs. However that isn't the way this sub is supposed to run. It is very shocking to me as we don't even have a deal for 9.5 or better and have never subbed that way.
I will post immediately when I get the grades, and immediately when I get the cards in hand. I am very sorry this order got so complicated, I am here for any question that you might have.
