If I have extra singles. and they aren't someone super special.. I usually give them to people around me. Like this past weekend I had extra Rich Poythress cards, I gave them to people around me.. they got them signed and were appreciative..
I am kicking myself though, in 2002 I had 40 Ryan Howard UD Prospect Premieres, and I gave two to these little kids around me.. SMH..

Twins vs Mariners - 8/30

Went into this game with no real expectations. Would have absolutely LOVED to get King Felix but I know the odds of getting the biggest guys are always small. It was a day game after a night game so I knew there would be no batting practice and that eliminates most of the offensive guys. Pitchers always come out and play catch on these days so that was a plus, except for the fact that I could only recognize 2 or 3 Seattle pitchers. When I got there I was the only guy on the Seattle side as the Twins were out there and about 8 or 9 of them were signing for all the fans on that side. There were only 2 Seattle guys out there and I couldn't recognize them so when they passed by I didn't even ask them to sign. I thought all hope was lost as nobody else was out and then I saw Hisashi Iwakuma come out. I figured I might as well wait now with the small chance of getting him to sign. After not expecting anybody else to come out another group of about 4-5 guys came out, including this guy:

I suddenly had a small chance of hope come inside of me, but it seemed that once he came out about 30 people surrounded by knowing he was out there. A few guys came by and signed, but I didn't have any cards for them so I had to go with the Index Cards.

Most of the guys were in at this point, and that is when Felix started coming in. He walked by about 20 people without acknowledging their existence despite people shouting for him. I was the first guy there and I made eye contact with him just as he was about to go in the dugout and just asked if he had a minute to sign a ball for me. To my complete surprise, he turned around and I ended up with this

There are a couple breaks in the Auto, but nothing at all for me to complain about because I got one of my favorite pitchers to sign! He only signed for me and about 3-4 other people before going back so I felt very lucky. Right after I got Felix and while everybody's attention was towards him Iwakuma was walking along behind him. I quickly asked if he could sign a quick card, and he came over and signed for me before he left. It was pretty clear that he didn't know any English at all because once I said thank you very much he kind of just looked at me and nodded his head.

Sorry for all of the rambling, just thought I would share one of my best IP successes!! Also sorry for such large scans..

Has anybody ever done some TTM to the Arizona Fall League? I would love to get some of the better prospects there but don't know how likely that would be. If anybody here just so happens to be going, PLMK if they would be interested in a 50/50!

Nice triple auto cards Sly. I've been looking at finding some cards from the 50's - 70's with two or more players pictured to send out but so many of them now have a lest one person deceased or unwilling to sign.

Yeah, I'm finding a lot of those with the '81 Topps set I'm working on. Many non-signers, but a handful of passed away players too.

TTM at the AZL works pretty well. I am actually heading out there the 2nd week of the league. Most of those guys are bored, so they will sign TTM

Just went through the AFL rosters, will probably send to 8-10 guys. I only like to send stuff to players that I have extras of since I don't expect to ever get anything back, but most guys I only have 1 of so I will hope for the best!

I may do 1-2 guys in the AFL. I'm not to big on the prospect TTMs anymore.
