My new side obsession. Topps Archives Signature Series have been issuing 1/1's featuring the 2007 Topps Finest Refractors. Just picked up Zito to add to Griffey and Maddux. Missed out on Magglio Ordonez and there is a Helton on Ebay but the seller is firm on his pricing that is a little too much right now.

Some neat '00s stuff. The Bowman Chrome card is an Orange Refractor 19/25. Bowman Heritage is a Mahogany 12/25. and the Tim Hudson 2005 TOTT Swatch Five is 050/100.

A couple of rookie-year Cespedes cards, a Gold Refractor auto, Mulder 2021 Platinum Anniversary Chrome Green/Yellow parallel 75/99, and an Independence Day Chris Bassitt.

Lastly, some low end team set completers. 2018 Gypsy Queen Green, 2018 Stadium Club Red Foil, 2017 Chrome Update Refractors/250, and 2020 Topps Gold Foil.

2. Been working on a Topps era HOF pitcher run the past 2 years (no rookies, no repeat years). The finish line is in sight after today's pickup.

I forgot this one. I am thinking this may have been some sort of alternate issue, as I am not convinced this is one of the pack pulled Marino Hero cards. It had a holo on back. I have an inquiry into UD, as I tried their holo look up tool and it doesn't have older holos in the database yet, but did offer you to try their CS email. Well see if I get an answer...

Received both a Topps and Panini redemption in the mail today. The Panini card in now the thickest non book card I own. Over 1/4" thick.

Too lazy today to consolidate. Received 2 packages that were each 40+ individual listings. Picked a couple I liked and the rest will get put away in silence.

This surprised me. I just assumed i'd be outbid. These are hidden gems and with us so far from the issue and these being quite hard to detect, they don't seem to pop up much any more. I think the issue was 2003. They are embossed buybacks, but the embossing is hard to see. No foil, no serial numbers, just a crimped logo. You can see it pretty well across his left chest area. Kirby Puckett 1988 AS!
