So Cashburg will have a base card, but it will be a sp????
I'm curious about that. Would it be 3x-5x the value of a non-SP? More? Minis?

Woods and I believe silks are hobby only, but everything else should be in there, what I like about a box of ginter
is you could pull a few nice cards, one auto and a nice numbered mini, most boxes its one good pack and 23
garbage packs.

schmidtfan20 said:If the base stras is an SP look for it to be worth 8 bucks per. Maybe more with the hype. SP mini would be around
20 with A&G back 30, black back maybe 50, there will also be a numbered to 50 no number back and a bazooka
back, also 4 plates, 10 silks and 1 wood mini..plenty to chase. Could their be rip cards and ext minis? Possibilities
are endless.

I'd be shocked if he does not outsell those guys. 98% of people who look at baseball cards are (duh...) baseball and baseball card fans, not racing fans or Kung Fu fans. While the supply for Strasburg is going to be far greater, the card is being targeted at the market that is most interested, unlike with the Lee and Patrick cards. Throw in the huge following that Ginter has and I'll be shocked (barring a big decrease in prices for Strasburg before then, or a huge print run) if the Strasburg does not outsell those.schmidtfan20 said:Danica was pretty hot when she was back in 2006, Bruce Lee in 2007, I can't see Strasburg out selling those
people just because there are far more Stras out there. Who knows. I hope Clay isn't ignoring me.

I definitely believe that but I wonder how many of them are even aware that a card was released in a baseball set, and how many who know want a "baseball card."schmidtfan20 said:Topnotchsy said:I'd be shocked if he does not outsell those guys. 98% of people who look at baseball cards are (duh...) baseball and baseball card fans, not racing fans or Kung Fu fans. Maybe, but racing fans are just as rabid has any sport fans. A quarter sized swatch of fabric from something worn
by Bruce Lee was fetching 300+ a few weeks after release. Lets hope that all the goodies are in there and not just
a few base SP cards sprinkled in.

I talked to my distributor earlier today and he told me the release date is 6/30 also he said there will be GU and auto of Strasburg in Allen & Ginter
frzg said:I'm really really hoping that he has a base card. Topps said he is in the set with an auto and mini. I'm hoping that doesn't mean a rip exclusive mini.
I'd be much more inclined to bust cases if he had a base card in the set.
