My 2¢ is that it's not fake. The giveaway is that it doesn't curve back enough. The "J" in Jordan extends to the left much more than your ball in just about every Jordan auto I've looked at. Is it possible that it's legit and he just broke his pattern? Sure. Would I leave it up to that chance? Hell to the no.

You mean that it IS fake, right?
Whoops, meant to say "not real" or "fake", and guess I crossed the two ::facepalm:: . My 2¢ is that it is fake.

As someone who has handled way too many Jordan autos on basketballs and jerseys the past 10 years, its 100% fake

Jordan ONLY signs for UDA on items like this. I am 100% positive this is fake. Here are some real Jordan cards:

I would try and get my money back ASAP, even if it was possibly real. Without a UDA certificate there is hardly any resale value close to what you paid.

The cert is from 1996. Is everyone sure he was Upper Deck exclusive back then? Also in 1996 was his signature a little different then what it the last 5-10 years?

I've seen WAY too many field of dreams certs throughout the years to know instantly they have zero credibility as being the be all end all. I've seen a lot of PSA submissions fail with field of dream certs from the 90's.

At first this is what I thought but then I think I remember in the mid 90's Field of Dreams getting busted for selling fakes. I would just try to get a refund and probably with the money that was paid for this, use it to buy a nice Jordan auto card.

And yet somehow it seems like what everyone has been telling you is falling on deaf ears. What someone pays for something doesn't mean that it's legit, people have paid millions for fakes. Ball is too questionable.

Where did they buy it from? That's why I don't let anyone buy cards/memorabilia for me...because they don't know what they're doing and it's too easy to get lost.

Jordan has been exclusive since at least 1994. I know he was already exclusive when he was playing baseball.

And his signature hasn't noticeable changed in that time period from what I've seen.
