Looking for some information on a few autographed baseball and some other items. Nice guy.

Hopefully he'll bring in a few items to show.

I've asked a few times on a no longer relevant message board if Al Simmons (born Aloys Szymanski) was related to the former propect Brandon Szymanski. If so, he'd likely be a grandson or great nephew, but it would have been a good story... he's out of baseball now I believe.

What a team the A's were back then! Jimmie Foxx, Eddie Collins, Lefty Grove, Al Simmons, Ty Cobb, Chief Bender, Connie Mack as manager, and I KNOW I am missing a couple! Can't believe all of those guys were on the '25 team and didn't win it all! The sad thing is Cobb retired after that year, and they won it in '26.
