Thanks guys. It's very hard to gauge being the only one pulled/listed and being a non-auto. If listed on day 1 of release, I think 2K might have been reasonable. The Harper prices (like the other big names) are dropping quickly. Also, I think the price of this will drop once a chrome auto is announced for later this year (seems almost a certainty and I'm wondering if assuming this might have affected the offers).

I received a bunch of lowball (<$500) offers and a few in the 1200-1400 range. Probably should have done an auction to see what the true market value is, but I'm happy with $1400. Especially considering I sold my case for a decent profit and hit this in the 2 jumbo boxes I had.

On items you don't know what it will get but you know its gonna be high,
its a good reason to start it at 99¢ and let it ride..
Sometimes a real high buy it now/best offer price scares people away and the others, low ball their offers.. And you're always thinking , can I get more??

Sometimes people get caught up in the "auction" and it could get crazy bids..

I only use BIN/BO on cards that already have an established price..

Either way, nice sale on the card

Thanks for posting this. BINs/BOs are when the seller becomes the second highest bidder and I agree are only helpful to the seller if he/she actually has a clue of what the price is. But its impossible to price the most rare stuff because so many factors come into play.

I refuse to play the BIN/BO game on the highest-end stuff, if the card is THAT good, the seller should be confident enough to let it ride, and I don't want to feel like *I've* been taken for a ride by hitting expensive BINs/BOs.
