I have never shown this one online anywhere before, so i told a couple FCB members about it and they were interested in seeing it. I thought it was Coke advertisement, but it is infact a Gatorade addy. This cardboard standee was used in select convenience stores during the 2004/05 season (NHL lock out year) to promote Gatorade in Canada. Only a few select stores got one of these, as i only ever saw mine and only 2 other quickie mart stores with these (and believe me i was looking everywhere for these). This advertisement was used when Crosby was 17 years old and before he was drafted in the NHL. I believe the photo is from the 2004 WJC.

It is just a very unique Crosby collectible (and big, its over 6' tall) from before he entered the NHL (Check out his jersey number and auto). Imagine owning something like this of Wayne Gretzky, from (pre-NHL days) when he was a teen in Indianapolis (WHA)?

that's awesome Bilko. plus it's store-used :D

now that you have the best Center and face off guy in the NHL you really need to find a goalie for your cardboard team.

Do you stand these up in your windows facing out?

I would.

When I was in uni, living in res, a couple of guys had a Keanu Reeves cutout from Speed (I have no idea how, this was about 10 years after Speed came out). He went to all the parties, and was in most of the pictures. One day, a buddy and I kidnapped Keanu, and proceeded to ransom him (including magazine letter notes, and sending back his fingers).

It lasted an entire semester, and eventually got two other people in a lot of trouble after they stole it from us, afte we stole their pizza.

I guess the point of this post is - don't let anyone cut off Crosby's fingers.

I did for a couple days when i got my first, thought he would act as a good "security guard" but then immediately started getting paranoid about fading, so i took him out.
