Personally I loved Tebow's speech. He was willing to speak from his heart and wear his emotion on his sleeve. It obviously helped as they won the National Championship. I could care less what color you are.

Listening to it, it sounded rehearsed and contrived.

Seriously? ::facepalm:: Some of the greatest team leaders in NFL history were the one's whom spoke through thier play/production on the field, not those "bee-bopping" or "bustin' a rhyme" during "sausage-circle time" right before the start of a game! :lol:

Yah, I've sorta went off track. It's not really about what makes a great vocal leader. It's about how goofy white people sound when they scream. After someone brought up Brees, my point was dead. It's clearly just the vocal range of the screamer, not the skin-colour.

Yes, Tebow obviously decided to lose the Ole Miss game. Then he wrote the speech he would say in the post game presser during the week and he rehearsed it during the game.

Makes perfect sense.

Agreed. I never saw Montana hoopin and hollerin before a game to get people pumped up. No, he was cool, calm and collected and let his play be the leader. pointing out John Candy in the crowd during a huddle on a Super Bowl winning drive. That's the kind of leader I want.

Wow, that's an overly simplistic response to an acute observation. Did I say anything about Tebow planning on losing the game? It takes about 10 seconds to make up a fake flow of conciousness / train of thought and the corresponding fake emotion.

Ie. I accidentally hit someone in the face with a football and feel zero remorse -- they should've caught it. It takes about 1 or 2 seconds for me to fake pity and come up with some bs apology. That doesn't mean that I went through this ten step program that you simplified it into..

You said it was rehearsed, hard to rehearse something in 10 seconds. And Tebow would be the last player I would call fake when it comes to his emotions and love for the game and his team.

But you obviously know him better then us since you say his speech was fake.
