Just " Buy it Now" on ebay, won a 2006 bowman sterling mike pelfrey black refractor rc that is supposed to be #/25. It says in the listing that the numbering is not on the back, and i was just wondering why that is. Is this seller ID known to do this? please help.. the seller is:

It's a real card. just one that has been taken from topps' replacement stash and sold to these sellers to resell online. (Not by topps.)

For a PC, then it is okay. If you plan to resell, then you might have a bigger issue.

But what you bought isn't listed in a price guide because it was backdoored as mentioned earlier. That's the reason there is no numbering on the back. It was never from a pack. It is basically an extra card that was never destroyed. It will never be worth as much as the original would be.

You have a card that really should not exist. And instead of that helping the value, that kills it.

I have bought from Boyd before never had a problem, but I have never bought anything
like this before either.
