Is Smoak scheduled to have any Bowman Chrome autos later this year? I've been debating whether to sell or hold a very limited Razor parallel auto that I have of his.

Isn't he a razor exclusive? I believe he is and therefore he won't have any other cards from other companies until he reaches the bigs or the contract with razor is up

I am a big fan of Smoak USA stuff, was never able to pick up a red ink on-card though

I didn't realize Smoak was promoted to AAA until I just saw his name on the stat sheet (he hit a double against Brandon Backe in AAA today)! When did he get promoted? :?

Maybe that's why :lol: I have a ton of his blue ink on-cards, and I have a Wallace red on-card so I just figured they all had red inks. I thought the print run for each was around 10 which is why I'd never seen one.

So all the teams would have to do is promote those players for a weekend series let them get an AB or 2 and send them back down.... and all of Razors big Exclusive contracts would be null and void allowing Topps to print Chrome rookies of all the players??

::facepalm:: ...Sometimes on milb.com when I scroll to a level (A, AA, AAA) it will go there for a second & then jump back to the previous level that was listed before, I was on Double-A & then scrolled to Triple A to check out some score's; I guess it did the "flippo" on me & I thought I was looking at Triple-A stats when I wasn't! My bad guy's (thanks for correcting my screwup, I was a bit shocked that I hadn't heard of his callup...Now I know why!).

Im not positive but I believe that once a player makes his Major League debut one of the other companies can make cards of them. Not sure if they would be able to get autos or not though.

They would be able to make cards but not autos I believe.

Yeah, there is only a handful of player's in the Red "on-card" auto Independance Day set (I know Alvarez, Wallace, Ross, ahhh I'm drawing a blank but there are 2 or 3 more I think?). The supposed confirmed print run is 25, though it was believed early on that they were #d/10 (alot of member's suspected there were more than 10, as there were almost 10 of the Alvarez's up within a 5 day period at one point, as well as the Ross's). Anyhow, I hope this helps ya a bit in your search as you would have been after that "whale" until the end of time (as there isn't one)! :lol:

My card is a Smoak Razor Exclusive parallel auto/5. Not as good as the regular auto/5 but I'm hoping to at least get $100 for it if I decide to list it.
