.050 ish so far in AAA. I think its time for Justin Smoak to go to AA. AAA is obviously to much for him right now

Is AAA pitching that much better than AA? No need to back track. Just a slump.

Brett Wallace went 3-3 then 0 for his next 25 or 30 when he got called up to AAA and is now back above .300 hitting a double or home run every other at-bat it seems. Smoak should follow suit. Bad timing for a slump. All-star break coming up so he should be good to go for the second half. Or he could be Cardenas and go back to AA and hit .350 again.

Did Smoak piss in your pancake's? :P It seems you're holding some kinda grudge with Smoak as this is your 2nd post in the past 2 days mentioning his poor start in AAA (& MANY player's take several games to get into the groove of a level promotion, new team, new teammates, new surroundings, new place of residence, maybe a hot new neighbor he's staying out late with has him sleep deprived eh??? Who knows, but it is not nearly enough of a sample size to load up the lynch-mob & run him outta town! :D

I just think its a waste for him to take up playing time in AAA when he should be in AA learning. He's not ready for AAA.

Do you understand the minors and the levels? I don't think you really do.

Best talent Level = AA
Highest Possible Level = AAA

AAA isn't used as the last stop to prove your worth as a prospect. AA is where you show you can get over the learning curve and excel.

The reason Smoak is in AAA at this point is likely because he will be called up soon enough. It won't just be a september call-up, but an actual extended time. Davis just got demoted, so Texas could use a replacement for his misses this season, when it's time to make the move.
