I would do just about anything for this card.

Is that your way of saying that you will be buying it for me?

I own literally thousands of Justin Upton cards. But, to me, that card was way overpriced when it first sold and way overpriced now. I would never pay that kind of money for a guy this young. Several thousand dollars for even the best of the hyped is still too much at this point. How much more room for growth does a card like this have? Unless he becomes Pujols 2, that seller will never make back his money unless he got them at reasonable prices.

I sold him this exact card for 2500 a few years back. The card is beautiful and as far as I remember at least a 9. I wish him luck but highly doubt he'll make anywhere near the BIN.

I aslo had a much nicer scan!

I'm sure he would sell at that price. But isn't it possible he listed, mentioning that he had 4 of them, in hopes the person with the other one will contact him to try to sell it to him?

I'm by no means a grader, nor am I knocking your judgment of the card, as you owned it at one time, but by the looks of the back of that card, no way is it a 9 IMO, as the centering from left to right is way off, correct? and the edges, especially the right side look bad, the the corners, especially the bottom left, bottom right and upper left are showing some whiting. Again, JMO as to what I see from your scan, as if these are all the case, could be why it is not graded??

I think the edges on the back are more a victim of the scan than the card but there's a definite reason I don't give "possible" grades when I sell raw cards. With grading I've had so many cards do better and worse than expected that I don't go with much more than my gut anymore. My "gut" says 9 but that same gut has been plenty wrong in the past!

All that aside my guess is that he probably did try and grade them which is why they aren't slabbed right now. Those cards are too nice not to grade if you plan on re-selling them.
