Keith Law's updated mock draft. Interesting to compare his picks to those of Jonathan Mayo of mlb.com who made his selections last week. Talking to scouts from two teams who working out a player from St Paul's in Mobile yesterday said this draft will be a cheap draft with pre-arranged deals being agreed on. Good news because there should be full holdouts.

I like Wheeler for the Braves.

Has Donavan Tate's stock dropped that much, or is it signability concerns? I'm not a huge fan of him, but going from top 5 pick to absent from 1st round isn't good. lol

Its rumored he wants a 6 million dollar contract plus the clause that he can play football. That means no Instructs or SS ball. He would report to ST in February and play up until football pratice starts in early in August. Butch Davis says it is okay with him and that is rare because he didn't allow that with the Hurricanes.

Tate my drop b/c of the FB commit. It isn't just a ploy from what I understand. A good friend of mine (same one that son plays with Zack Wheeler) said that Tate is really wanting to play FB. His dad was a star at the greatest University of all time..:) (sorry GILMORE, had to put in a dig on HELLABAMA) so I see him going to UNC

Givens will be selected 2nd to 4th rounds

Yankees will take a Mississippi prep in the 2nd round David Renfroe in a pre assigned deal has a shortshop.

Would love to land Purke, Renfroe, and Givens ...

Sounds about right.

A devastating pitcher and has 21 HR in only 110 PA with a .500 avg.

Its been reported that the A's might take Kent Matthes out of Alabama in the 1st round which is purty high for a college senior.

Family friend worked out for the Astros on Saturday. The scouting bureau didn't even asked for his info until May 10th and was shocked when his coach called him with the news. Astros are offering $150,000 for between the 3rd and 6th round.

Just curious, Where do you get all this info?

I was really hoping Renfroe would fall to the Phils.
